At the Fisherman Cottage Restaurant, on the West Coast, in Hondeklipbaai you will

find a reading room, which is seperate from the restaurant, but still, you can

make yourself a cup of coffee, sit in the little bay-window and reading some books.

Hondeklipbaai is a very small Fisherman Village on the West Coast, and because

we are so isolated, it is important to offer our local people and our valued

visitors the oppertunity to have access to books and reading.

It is not a library or bookshop and we try to keep the books in the reading room. We

don’t sell the books, because most of it is personal books from some locals and

sponsored.

Hondeklipbaai, sea fook, good coffee and the reading room will offer you

the perfect break away from city life.

We are the very first reading room in Hondeklipbaai and

between the books and pages, you will find some good

poetry of locals and Fisherman Stories, Wes Kus Stories.
