The Fisherman Cottage Restaurant, in Hondeklipbaai on the Namaqualand,

West coast is a gem in the heart of Hondeklipbaai.

It’s been designed in the Old Cape Dutch style house, with thatched roof

and bay windows to appreciate our West Coast Ocean.

We don’t have a set menu, but we have a ‘dish for the day’, prepared by

Stanley Cierenberg. From Fish and Chips, Biriyani, Pasta and much more.

We don’t have a liquor licence, so we do not sell any alcohol. But you

are more than welcome to bring your own and enjoy it with a plate of food.

Stanley Cierenberg,the brain child behind Fisherman Cottage Restaurant, was

born in the Free State.

Stanley is internationally and locally well travelled and worked on various famous

cruise liners. 

He decided to bring nations, traditions, food and people together with his

menu, decoration, art and interesting stories while preparing the most delicious

meals.

It is amazing just to visit the Fisherman Cottage Restaurant for a cup of coffee

and enjoy a real colourful coffee talk with a colourful person, called Stanley

Cierenberg.
